- Use as ice melt
- Mix with water and use as a soft scrubbing detergent
- Make a paste with water and clean out pots and pans

- Keep lawn furniture clean by wiping them down with a solution of water and baking soda
- Loosen knotted shoelaces by sprinkling them with baking soda and working it in.
- Get rid of onion and garlic smells from you hands by making a paste with baking soda and a little water.

- Grow sweeter tomatoes by sprinkling the soil with baking soda. The baking soda neutralizes the acidity of
